We have had a strange start to the NSW South Coast surf season this year. Spring had unpredictable weather but it has been great to see all the keen surfing learners still getting out there on those rainy days.
Now summer has definitely arrived and the water is nice and warm so it's time to start booking your surfing lessons to get fit & hit the waves this summer.
We are excited to present lots of surf events for this Summer, especially the Rip Curl Girls Go Surfing Day at Broulee and Narrawallee December 10th and 11th.
This is a national girls surfing day with all Surfing Australia Surf schools hosting female specific surf lessons. You will receive a Rip Curl t-shirt and show bag along with your lesson for $40. Make sure you book early as it will fill up.

What's new?
Spring Summary:
Thank you to all our surf school groups who attended this spring. We have been busy on the beach right through October and November with the Safe Surfing Program with groups from the ACT and Sydney including schools, youth centres and corporate groups.
We would also like to thank you for contributing to North Broulee being the overall winner for the south coast region for the Keep Australia Beautiful Clean beach challenge 2006!
Our commitment to the environment with beach clean ups and raising awareness all contributes to the amazing community effort that makes our beach not only the best for learning to surf but also the cleanest!!!
Womens Surf & Yoga Retreats Australia:
After spending the winter researching the Maldives and the Australian east coast for our 2006 Womens Surf and Yoga retreats, we have been busy this spring developing the programs which will launch in March 2006 on the south coast of NSW.
We have developed the perfect blend of surf time on quality breaks with activities to take advantage of the natural beauty of the South Coast area while still allowing relaxation time in the perfect Australian bush and beach setting.
Accommodation is arranged in private villas that will give you a truly unique Australian experience hidden on 100 acres of natural bush with our own private beach deep on the South coast of NSW!

Womens Global Surfing Adventure Trips:
Our second exciting development is the private boat charter in the Maldives in July 2006. This surfing adventure tour will be exploring the North and South Atolls on the first ever womens only boat trip.
These retreats are designed for both experienced and beginner surfers. Sorry guys, in 2006 these trips are specified for women only! After many years of travel across the globe as a solo female surfer I have identified the need for tours that accommodate females needs both in and out of the water. These trips will book out fast - so get in early! Let all your friends know about this unique offer.
South Coast Summer Surfing Opportunities:
The good news for the boys, past and present learners and our surfing families - both Broulee Surf School and Ulladulla Surf School surf instructors are ready to hit the waves with you this summer!
As usual we have many packages for beginners and intermediate surfers, including weekend packages, school holiday programs, after school surfing and the hugely popular private lessons. Get those private surfing lessons in before summer as these lessons will only be available by special request in the peak holiday time!
Now is also the time to start thinking about purchasing your new surfboard so for all advice on what to buy and where to buy it call us and we can point you in the right direction.
Yoga classes taught by myself at Broulee surf Club on Tuesday evenings are also proving to be popular with the surfers. Remember if you would like a private assessment of your surfing and fitness we can develop a specific training regime for you.
